Ethiopian government admits:
1. ERITREAN TROOPS KILLED 110 civilians fr November 27-28 only!
2. Summary of report conducted by Attorney General Office - this is unusual given the office’s close association with Abiy Ahmed himself.
3. The fact that Abiy’s aide authors such a damming report may mark a beginning of a political drift among Cabinets.
*******
4. While the world is focusing on Tigray, the elephant in the room remains: the atrocity in Oromia over successive period of time.
5. Unless Oromia receives appropriate attention, it will absolutely be impossible to resolve Tigray conflict on its own. Tigray isn’t an island of its own. There is a natural alliance of ideologies: the eternal belief in effective right to self-determination in both societies.
6. If Oromia’s political question had been attended to in the past decades, we probably won’t be having a nightmare we are having today.
So, it’s in the best interest of every nation or community including international community to listen to Oromo voices in and outside of Oromia.
